Tell me what type of recipes you’d like to see more of this year! Leave your suggestions and wish list in the comments section at the bottom of this post. 🙂

I start off every new year thinking about all the new recipes I want to share here on my website. And as always, I completely over-think it. 🥺 I spend hours going back and forth, my mind in a total whirl. What do I think you want to see more of this year?

More quick recipes recipes? More complete meals in one pot? More healthy recipes? More finger food?

But – why try to second-guess what type of recipes you want to see? I’ll just ask you!
So, dear reader, tell me what recipes you’d like to see in 2023! Leave your suggestions in the comments below.

I can’t promise I can dish up everything on your wish list, but I can promise that I will read every single message and factor it in as I create new recipes throughout the year. Your feedback is invaluable to me, every time I put out these help requests. ❤️
Thank you in advance for your input!! – Nagi x

Hi Nagi, I have used many of your recipes and really a fan. I was thinking whether you have ever looked at South African recipes. They are a mixture of African, Malay, French and Dutch. Have a look here: https://cheflolaskitchen.com/delicious-south-african-foods/
Some of the most popular would be Bobotie (Pronounced Boh-bootie), boerewors (farmers sausage seasoned with cloves), cape Malay curries. There are also many desserts incl. koeksusters (doughnut in syrup) and melktert (Milk tart). You would have come across biltong as well.
I’ve tried making bobotie a few times with varied success.
I’d love to see your spin on making the perfect bobotie.
Hi, I’m pretty new to using your site. I’ve attempted a couple of your recipes (Thai Green Curry; and Crushed Cucumber Salad) and they were amazing hits!! So tasty, easy enough (though getting the ingredients in El Paso, TX took so much driving 😭) and just great food. I’m about to attempt a Butter Chicken 🙏 the chicken is already marinating. But recently I had some health issues come up, and my doctor implored me to switch my diet to “carnivore”, it’s basically a low carb/keto thing, but I’m really hoping you’ll send some healthier and quick recipes like that out way this year. Congrats on all the success btw 😉
Hi Nagi
You asked for ideas for recipes for 2023. How about a lobster risotto in a light white sauce
Toast Skagen, my absolute favorite finger food. Would be very interested to see your take on it
Red Duck Curry Please! (with lychees 😋)
Would love a carbonara recipe please!
Philly cheesesteak please !
Would love more easy veg-forward mains, or complete meals where I don’t need to serve up a side because there’s plenty get off veg in already . Also, some easy, can-be-prepped-in-advance dishes to take to others’ houses (eg for BBQs or a dinner party). And maybe some picnic food that’s not a sandwich or savoury muffin!
I would love a Korma recipe, preferably lamb (because YUMMM) but adaptable to both chicken and beef for versatility!
Hi Nagi, we absolutely love your recipes! After travelling through Cambodia I fell in love with Chicken Amok but have never been able to replicate it to do it justice. I would love if you had a recipe for us to use!
Hi Nagi
I’d like a mulligatawny soup recipe. Maybe a chicken mulligatawny too!
Love your work , thank you x
I would love a recipe for macarons, the video would be so helpful. My grandson and I have had 2 attempts and I know your recipe would be perfect, also watching the video would be so helpful as it has been in all the recipes I try.
Thanks Nagi xx
Hi Nagi, Can you please do a banana bread recipe? Thank you so much for recipetin eats, it’s improved our family meals so much in the past year. You’re the best!
