I start off every new year thinking about all the new recipes I want to share here on my website. And as always, I completely over-think it. 🥺 I spend hours going back and forth, my mind in a total whirl. What do I think you want to see more of this year?

More quick recipes recipes? More complete meals in one pot? More healthy recipes? More finger food?


But – why try to second-guess what type of recipes you want to see? I’ll just ask you!

My husband has gout and I need fast, delicious low acid meals to get him healthy again. Not a ton of ingredients. We love vegetables, don’t love the prep.

I have IBS which means I can’t tolerate gluten and am also limited with onion and garlic. I am also diary intolerant. Main course dinner recipes would be great. Asking a lot but I would be very grateful for just one or two. Thanks.

I guess thay being the start of the year healthy food would be good to see but also easy quick meals would be my go too. My kids are fussy and prefer beef and chicken even abit of fish . Thank you

I would love to see Latvian bacon and onion perogis, piroshkys, or whatever they are called. My parents were imigrants after WWII and I haven’t found a decent recipe for these. Thank you so much. I love your recipes and your site.
*laughter* Well, I was one of your parents’ mob (still going strong) from Estonia – we call them ‘pirukad’ and the Russkies ‘piroshki’ . . . in case Nagi takes a wee bit of time – look up the cooking from Finland to Russia to Belarus to ALL the Baltics and right down to Poland – we all love and eat and make and have about a million recipes on line !!!

Happy New Year to you and Dozer. I love all your recipes! Years ago my boyfriend’s sister made a Roast Pork Cuban style which I’ve never been able to duplicate. The skin was super crispy and I remember lot’s of GARLIC. She served with CONGRI (Cuban black beans and rice). YUM!
